Shiko is one of the four Mote Sisters who study under their master; Wikun, successor of the Tendo Branch of Gaming Mastery. Together, they hope to change the way the world views and experiences gaming. Because of her motion sensing and rumble features, Shiko possesses a voracious appetite for batteries that is common to all four Mote Sisters.

Shiko is the most reclusive of the four sisters, having suffered a training accident in which she broke her wriststrap and fractured her skull, for which she is still wearing the bandages. Niko had been the one pushing her at the time, and as a result feels responsible for the incident. Shiko never goes out on her own, and generally helps only by keeping Sanko awake when she is needed. Shiko is the most easily identifiable of the four sisters by her bandages and by her lack of a wriststap. She rarely, if ever, uses any of the controller attachments.
