Card Games - E. Wrigley's Students
For each of the following java applet projects,
you will need to have the newest version of Netscape Communicator (4.08
or higher) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (4 or higher). All of these
applets use the most current version of java event modelling and therefore
will not run on older browsers. If you want to see the java source
code, simply change the html extension in the URL to be java. Enjoy!!

Lo Card Game by S. Steele (CIS208, May 1999)
This is an excellent card game with great animations of shuffling of cards, sounds, etc. You must choose whether the card you pick will be higher or lower than the card just turned over. The "pot" rises as you pick more cards off the table. |

This is an unbelievable card game that allows the player to select from single-player mode or multi-player mode. This definitely is a candidate for GAMELAN. The user picks a card and then tries to pick the match for that card. This is an extremely lengthy program. |

This program includes great animation of cards and over 1000 lines of code to manipulate arrays. The dealer deals out 16 cards on the table. You pick a card and tell the computer which row your card is in. The dealer will deal out the 16 cards again in a different order and ask you to pick the row your chosen card is in. Then the computer tells you what your card is!!! |
