Pianos - E. Wrigley's Students

 

For each of the following java applet projects, you will need to have the newest version of Netscape Communicator (4.08 or higher) or Microsoft Internet Explorer (4 or higher).  All of these applets use the most current version of java event modelling and therefore will not run on older browsers.  If you want to see the java source code, simply change the html extension in the URL to be java.  Enjoy!!
 
 
 
Piano Keyboards 
Piano Keyboard by Ryan Flood (CIS208, Fall 1997)
Play a piano keyboard.  Use the mouse or keyboard to play a tune-- any tune.  You can even pick high or low octaves
Lighted Piano Keyboard by C. Huey (CIT111, Fall 2002)
Listen to the scales play and hear a tune at beginning.  Then play the piano and watch the keys light up!  Use the mouse to press the keys and hear the notes.
Lighted Piano Keyboard by M. Yee (CIT110, Fall 1999)
Play a piano keyboard.  Use the mouse to press the keys and watch the keys turn colors as you play!
"I'm a small piano -- short and neat" Keyboard by G. Conley (CIT130, Fall  1999)
Play a piano keyboard.  Use the mouse or keyboard to play a tune-- any tune.  You can even pick high or low octaves
Piano Keyboard by J.D. Lewis (CIT130, Fall  1999)
Play a piano keyboard.  This applet plays all the notes first which is a good way of loading in sounds. 
Chords - Piano Keyboard by F. Kaszycki (CIT130 - Fall 1999)
This piano plays chords.  Java can play multiple sounds at same time and this is the way chords are accomplished.
